Immunization Services
Padmakunvarba General Hospital provides immunization services under the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) and Mission Indradhanush, as part of the National Health Mission. Vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions to protect children and pregnant women from preventable diseases.
Our pediatric department and maternal health services coordinate immunization for infants, children, and antenatal mothers. Vaccines are provided free of cost at the hospital as per Government of India guidelines.
Vaccines Provided
- BCG, OPV/IPV, Pentavalent (DPT + HepB + Hib)
- Measles-Rubella (MR), Rotavirus, and PCV as per schedule
- TT/Td for pregnant women and adolescent girls
- Catch-up vaccination under Mission Indradhanush for missed doses
- Vitamin A supplementation and deworming as per programme
Who Should Visit
Parents and guardians should bring their child's immunization card (Mamta Card) at every visit. Pregnant women should receive TT vaccination as advised during antenatal check-ups at our Antenatal Care clinic or Well Baby Clinic.
